the Yoga studio stands for modern Yoga. We believe that Yoga is not a closed, one-size-fits all recipe to follow. We love diversity because we believe being authentic is key to living a fulfilled life. We celebrate the natural rhythm of life. the Yoga studio is your hOMe to be yourself and find your mind-body connection.

Our classes range from strong flows to total relax classes and are taught in English. They are open to all levels and can be visited on a drop-in basis. Currently all classes can be attended from the comfort of your home via our zoom livestream.

Inspired by a nomadic way of life, the cozy character typical for the Yoga studio comes from natural surfaces and earthy tones. Comfy pillows and hand-picked accessories add to the warm, homelike atmosphere. Our team creates a space for your own practice in which to grow and develop. Your very own personal space to slow down and reconnect.

At the Yoga Studio we believe that Yoga is not a closed, one-size-fits all recipe to follow. The same belief shapes our Yoga Teacher Trainings. We aim at not only providing you with a solid foundation of the why, what and how of teaching Yoga, but hold the space for your very own personal growth and development. A hOMe to be yourself and to become an authentic Yoga Teacher.

1on1 Personal Yoga
Private lessons are great if you would like to work on an individual topic or simply feel more comfortable practicing in an intimate space.
Private sessions are customised and tailored to meet your specific needs. They can be offered in person in our fully equipped studio in Erlangen, at your home or virtually via ZOOM.
Our Experts

Maxine
Founder of the Yoga Studio and My Urban Escape
Maxine is an experienced Yoga teacher, mentor and coach, based in Belgium. Inspired by the 5 Elements and Nature, her classes reach from meditative inwards focused Yin Yoga to strong, breath focused Flow Yoga classes. Maxine teaches from her heart, sharing her own experiences with students from all around the world.
Maxi has more than 2,000 hours of yoga training and over 3,500hours of teaching experience. Her main influences are Shiva Rea (Prana Flow, USA), Patricia Thielemann (Spirit Yoga, Germany), Jo Phee (Yin Yoga, Singapore), Tias Little (Prajna SATYA, USA)
Maxine stands for modern Yoga which meets todays needs. It’s a fusion of ancient Yoga knowledge paired with recent insights and breakthroughs in neuroscience, fascia studies and Ayurveda.
